About Me
I was born and raised in Las Vegas. And no, I did not live in a hotel :). Living in Vegas I was exposed to a lot of weird situations at an early age. Seeing the Mickey who walks around downtown take his head off was quite the shock at 5. But overtime you grow to love the chaos and spend your weekends hiking, seeing movies with friends, and yes, partying.
I definitely did not have a normal childhood. I grew up fascinated with the idea of traveling to a normal town. So logically I moved to New York City to study acting.
New York was quite the change for me. I’d never even visited before moving here. I just knew it was the right place to be. I started studying here and I fell in love with the city. From late night walks around the East Village, to dollar pizza runs with friends, this city started to feel like home. There’s something about this city that makes you feel alive. I spent my free days wandering around looking for the best vintage shops I can find and the best Chai Lattes to keep me going.
I grew up fascinated by all things old and antique. If I see an antique store, you know I have to go in and look. My grandmother used to give me all of her old hand mirrors and porcelain pieces to fill my room with. Now I can’t help but collect more treasures and give them a new home where they can be shown off and appreciated. Here are some of my favorite pieces, including a makeup compact from 1950’s New York.
